The local Korean tournament Daejeon Valorant Invitational 2023 concluded yesterday with a quite expected outcome. The favorites of the Korean tier-2 scene, Dplus, proved to be stronger than the other participants, claiming the event's champion title.

Although all participants were from the tier-2 scene, it was the Dplus team that proved to be the strongest, thus receiving the largest cash prize and the champion's title.
The tournament took place over a single day, in a round-robin format, where each team battled against every other. Dplus started their tournament journey with an easy victory over CNJ esports. The score on the maps Haven 13-11, Bind 13-5. In their second match against Nongshim RedForce, the team had some minor problems but ultimately Dplus earned the victory. The scores on the maps Lotus 8-13, Breeze 13-8, Haven 13-5.
As a result of the single game day, Dplus players become the champions of Daejeon Valorant Invitational 2023 and earn $9,256 for the team. Nongshim RedForce receive the silver title, earning $3,856. CNJ esports, without a single win, take third place and earn $2,314 for the team.
