The Valorant community has discovered an interesting bug with the new XERØFANG Knife

The new XERØFANG set appeared in the game client just a few days ago and has already caused quite a stir. Today, players discovered an interesting bug that can occur when switching from the XERØFANG Knife to an automatic weapon.

It is worth noting that the XERØFANG set was released on February 7, 2024. It includes skins for the Ghost, Vandal, and a melee weapon. The set can be considered unique because it contains only 3 skins, whereas usually, the number is 5. After the set's release, the developers faced a flurry of criticism because the animation of the new XERØFANG Knife is almost identical to the animation of a knife from the Kuronami set. Read more about it in our article. The knife animation is related to an interesting bug recently discovered by content creator Maestro FPS.

In his video, the author shows how he managed to spin the Vandal in the air thanks to the knife animation. During a regular match, the content creator was simply twirling the knife but switched to the primary weapon Vandal during this. As a result, the latter performed several rotations in the air and returned to its usual position. This surprised the author and his viewers because such a thing usually never happens.

Although in the comments, some readers are convinced that this bug is possible only due to high latency and ping of the author himself. They believe that the poor connection caused a significant ping spike precisely at the moment of switching from the knife to the Vandal. Considering that there were no more such cases, it can be assumed that the readers' version is true.
