The team without an organization, OnlyFins, signs a new coach to their Valorant roster

The latest changes to the OnlyFins lineup happened almost a month ago when the team signed the last player to their Valorant roster. Today, unexpectedly, it became known that the club, despite all the problems, signed a new coach, who is the former professional player Álvaro “Altopo” Porto.

The team representatives announced this addition on their official Twitter account. Interestingly, the players playfully addressed the nationality of their team and the new coach. The fact is that Álvaro “Altopo” Porto is originally from Spain, so the phrase "More warmth to the cold north" perfectly describes his joining the Finnish team. In a short video, the best moments of Álvaro from the time he was a professional player are shown, as well as his clutches from ordinary ranked matches.

Álvaro “Altopo” Porto began his journey back in 2020, playing for the little-known team Abeconejos. Later, the player moved to Melilla Titans, initially as a coach and then as an assistant. However, despite his experience, Álvaro did not bring the team any significant victories.

After the addition of the coach, the OnlyFins roster has strengthened and is ready to start its performance in VALORANT Challengers 2024 Northern Europe: Polaris Split 1. In the important first split, the club will fight for the right to advance to the next stage and, ultimately, to secure a slot in the Ascension contenders tournament.
