Although the match didn’t start too confidently for 100 Thieves — the clear favorites in this encounter — they showed an even fight on 2GAME Esports' pick (Ascent), which went to overtime. In the end, 100 Thieves managed to close the map with a tight 15:13 score. On their own pick (Icebox), the team had no problems and confidently closed the map 13:6. This marked their third win in the group stage, which at minimum guarantees them 4th place in Group Alpha — and therefore a spot in the lower bracket of the playoffs.

G2 Esports vs Leviatán

G2 Esports continues their winning streak in the Americas region. A 2:1 victory over Leviatán became their fourth win in the group stage of VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1, guaranteeing them a spot in the upper bracket of the playoffs. Overall, this is already their eighth consecutive victory in the Americas, and given G2’s confidence and preparation, it looks like their streak is just getting started.

VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 runs from March 21 to May 4. During the event, teams are competing for three slots at VCT 2025: Masters Toronto and valuable Americas Points needed for future qualification to VALORANT Champions.
