Dataminer KINGDOM LABORATORIES reports that, despite the Valorant community's requests, Riot Games does not plan to make any changes to the map pool following the release of the new act.
In a previous article, we noted that the Valorant community expressed dissatisfaction with Riot Games' intentions to make the competitive mode resemble the esports scene. Players want all the maps available in the game to be present in the map pool at the same time.
However, according to insider KINGDOM LABORATORIES, the company has decided not to reintroduce any of the removed maps to the competitive map pool, some of which have been absent for over 180 days, and does not plan to make other changes in this regard with the launch of the new act.
The end of the current act and the beginning of a new one are scheduled for the same day. At least for now, the release of a new battle pass and the launch of a new competitive season are expected. However, we hope that Riot Games will not limit themselves to just this and that we will receive some new features or changes.
