The Chinese region has officially joined the Valorant competitive system, and we already know the names of the ten partner teams. Today, it was announced that after counting EVO points, all participants of the upcoming Valorant China Ascension 2023 contender's tournament have been determined. They will compete for the last chance to enter the partnership program.
Official Riot Games sources today shared interesting details about the upcoming Valorant China Ascension 2023 tournament. The final stage of the contender's league will take place from December 23 to December 30 in a LAN format in Shanghai. The group stage will be in a GSL format up to three wins, and the playoffs in a double-elimination format, with matches up to five wins in the lower bracket final and the grand final.

Most of the above-mentioned teams showed good results in the previous qualifying stages, with Rare Atom even taking second place. Interestingly, RNG, LGD, and TOP Esports did not make it to the list of candidates, as rumors suggest they have disbanded their Valorant teams after failing to directly enter the partnership program.
It is still unknown what the prize pool will be among the eight Chinese teams, but the main prize is evidently a place in the partnership program for 2024 and 2025.
