The competition on the professional tier-2 scene of Valorant Challengers continues, but some regions have already determined their winners. This includes the French region, where yesterday the first stage of the Valorant Challengers 2024 France: Revolution Stage 1 was completed.
The tournament took place from January 20 to April 7, with 8 teams participating. Six of them received direct invitations thanks to the France Circuit Points they earned during the last competition season. The other two teams made it through by winning the VCL 2023 France: Relegation qualifiers. After two and a half months, the tournament winner was determined to be the Joblife team.
In the grand final, the winners faced the Mandatory team, and despite the latter only taking one map, the clash was quite tense. The tournament winners had some trouble securing the first two maps, Ascent with a score of 13-9 and Split with a score of 15-3. However, on the third map, Icebox, the Mandatory players began to dominate, earning their first and last victory with a score of 13-8. The match result was decided on Lotus, where Joblife became the winners with some difficulty, scoring 13-8.
As a result of the match, the Joblife team overcame their opponents with a score of 3-1 and became the tournament winners. The first place brought the team 60 VCL France Points, as well as a direct invitation to the next stage of the tournament. We will continue to follow the French Challengers league to find out who will become the champion of the second stage.
