Recently, representatives of the Brazilian esports organization Keyd Stars made a significant statement regarding their current Valorant team. According to the club's official Twitter account, the entire roster temporarily becomes inactive and is sent to the bench.

The main reason for such a decision, the organization cites the need to maintain stability and the well-being of the players. This is related to the fact that the current competitive season for the team has ended, and since there is no tournament schedule for 2024 yet, it means there is no sense to keep the team in the active roster. Representatives of Keyd Stars assure that they do not plan to abandon the Valorant team, as it is one of the key teams in the organization's history.
Currently, we still do not have a complete definition of the calendar of official championships and other important information for the next year. Given this uncertainty, as an organization, we have a responsibility to take preventative measures aimed at the well-being of our players and the stability of our team. Therefore, we have made the decision to TEMPORARILY transfer our VALORANT team to the reserve roster. This step is aimed at ensuring that our players do not suffer from the uncertainty that still surrounds the competitive arena. We will continue to work, honoring the support and trust that you, fans, put in us. Thank you for understanding and ongoing support.
The team's results for 2023
Keyd Stars didn't show impressive results in the current season, mainly because they only played 2 splits throughout the year. The first stage of Valorant Challengers 2023: Brazil Split 1, ended with the team in 2nd place and a pleasant cash prize of $15,284. The next stage, Valorant Challengers 2023: Brazil Split 2, wasn't as successful, with the team finishing 4th, earning a small number of BR regional points. As a result, after 2 stages, the team had 95 BR points, securing them a 3rd place in the regional table. According to the season rules, only teams that finish 1st and 2nd get invited to Valorant Challengers Ascension 2023 in the American region. So Keyd Stars' performance in the current season came to an end.
