General Manager of 100Thieves leaves the Organization

Late last night it was revealed that Daniel Kapadia, known professionally as ddk, is no longer the General Manager of 100Thieves. This news came from the organization's official Twitter page, and later Daniel himself confirmed the information.

Daniel Kapadia is a professional commentator and analyst for CS:GO, who began his journey in the Valorant discipline in 2020. He has commented on such major tournaments as VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, and VALORANT Champions 2021. In March 2022, ddk joined 100Thieves as the head manager and helped the team perform well on the professional scene. Although the team didn't achieve significant victories in major tournaments, they generally showed a good level of performance on the American scene.

Daniel said goodbye to the organization and thanked everyone he had worked with during this time. He is confident that the team will only see success in the future and wishes them all the best. He did not disclose his future plans but assured that everything will be known soon.

It has been a wild journey! Lots of ups, downs, and fun trials and tribulations. Although I'm sad that I won't get the chance to apply all the valuable lessons from this year to continue building the program, I am incredibly grateful for all the people I have been associated with, and the value these relationships will provide far into the future. A special shout-out to the coaches and players I've worked with over the last 1.5 years. I know their talent will continue to grow and flourish over time. Thank you to everyone who supported the mission that Sean, Mike, and I began in 2022. As for what comes next for me – more on that in the coming days!

A reminder that 100Thieves had a disappointing performance at the VCT 2023: Americas Last Chance Qualifier, where they placed 5-6. This prevented the team from participating in the current World Championship. Therefore, it's possible that ddk's departure is just the first step in a series of reshuffles expected for the team.
