The disbandment of women's Valorant teams is causing concern among players

Last Sunday, the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere announced its departure from the inclusive Valorant scene in the EMEA region. They had previously participated in Game Changers since 2022 and stated that they are unsure about the prospects for 2024.

Following another announcement of withdrawal from the inclusive Valorant scene, many players have turned their attention to the mass disbandment of women's teams within the discipline. Polish athlete Weronika "speedowka" Dabrowska, vice-champion of GC EMEA 2023 from Acend Rising, expressed dissatisfaction with the ongoing situation.

Will we be left with only G2 and BBL for the next season? Are we going to compete against teams named Esquadrão Actimel or Mix de Gatinhas do My Little Poney?

In addition to Natus Vincere, Acend, where the athlete had previously been, also disbanded its roster after the end of the season. In the Brazilian region, the situation is similar, with many organizations disbanding women's rosters due to Riot Games' uncertain position regarding the future of both inclusive and mixed teams.

At the same time, VCT VALORANT Challengers remains successful in the eyes of the leadership. Other categories continue to suffer from a lack of support and funding, leading to doubts about their future.
