The Australian team, previously known as Bonkers and operating independently, is making a comeback to the Valorant competitive scene with a new tag

Today, exciting news was announced for fans of the Australian Valorant scene. The Bonkers squad, which competed in 2023 without the support of any organization, is returning to the professional scene with a new lineup and an updated name.

On their official Twitter account, representatives of Bonkers announced their return to professional Valorant and unveiled their new lineup under the name JJH BONK. This roster includes three players who previously played for the team, as well as two newcomers who have played for other clubs in the past. Despite the new lineup, the only vacant position remains that of a coach, so the team is open to proposals from interested candidates.

As mentioned earlier, Bonkers is a stack of players without an organization, but this didn't prevent the team from performing well last year. They won the VALORANT Challengers 2023: Oceania Split 2 and then went on to the Ascension contenders tournament, where they finished in 5th-6th place.

As of now, it's unclear why the team changed its name and added the JJH tag, but it's speculated that the players might have found a sponsor. We will continue to follow the players' progress in the upcoming season, especially since the regional qualifiers are set to start soon.
