Team Vitality eliminated from Masters Bangkok 2025 after loss to T1

Team Vitality finished Masters Bangkok 2025 in fourth place, falling to T1 in the lower bracket semifinal of the playoffs. This was only their second defeat in the entire 2025 season.

This match not only determined the team that would exit the tournament in fourth place, but also gave the winner a chance to break into the top three. Additionally, it was a high-stakes rematch, as these teams had already faced each other earlier in Masters Bangkok 2025, with Team Vitality securing a dominant 2-0 victory in their first encounter.

Despite that previous result, this match played out very differently, even reflected in the map picks, as both teams adjusted their priorities. The series began on Lotus, T1’s pick, but after a hard-fought battle, Team Vitality clutched the win in overtime, 14-12. However, that was the last map they would take. Haven was a one-sided affair, with T1 crushing Vitality 13-4, and on Split, the French team struggled to recover, ultimately losing 13-5.
