Team Liquid announces the addition of kamo to its Valorant roster

On October 15, the esports team Team Liquid, based in the Netherlands, officially announced the joining of player kamo to its Valorant roster. This decision was communicated by CEO Nazgul, who addressed the controversy surrounding the player's past racist remarks.

In his statement, Nazgul noted that the team carefully discussed this move and decided to include kamo in the lineup for the upcoming VCT. He also acknowledged that many may doubt this decision given the player's history. Nazgul emphasized that kamo understands that the only way to atone for his mistakes is to acknowledge them.

While discussing his past mistakes may hurt his dignity, he is ready to face criticism to prove that he has changed.

Nazgul highlighted that for two and a half years after the incident, kamo has been working on himself, engaging in therapy and participating in the Polish NGO "Never Again," which combats racism and human rights violations. He is actively learning and striving to improve himself both personally and professionally.

Team Liquid consulted with kamo coach and teammates to fully understand his situation and evaluate his efforts. Nazgul assured that the team would support kamo in his pursuit of self-improvement, emphasizing the importance of accountability and the possibility of redemption.

Thus, with the new addition of kamo and the appointments of coaches LohaN and yaotziN, the Team Liquid roster looks as follows.
