Team T1 has become the first known team to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai, thanks to their advancement to the finals of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Pacific Stage 1.
T1 was the first team out of twelve from all regions and one of three from the Pacific region to qualify for the second and last Masters of this season, which will take place in Shanghai, China. This was made possible by their victory over Gen.G Esports in the playoffs of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Pacific Stage 1.
In the Upper Bracket Semifinals, T1 faced Gen.G Esports in a match where they were considered the underdog. However, despite this, the team displayed a high level of play against one of the best teams in the region, winning the match 2:1 on maps and securing their place in Shanghai.
The start of the last Masters in 2024 is scheduled for May 23 and will last until June 9. The prize pool and full list of participants are still unknown, so stay tuned for results from other tournaments on our website.
