Starxo departs from KOI and prepares for the new season as a free agent

On September 4th, KOI player Starxo announced his departure from the team on his X page. He stated that he is ready to continue his career in the roles of initiator, smoker, or flex player, and is open to competing in Europe, America, and Asia. Now, Starxo is considering offers from other teams as a free agent, with no transfer compensation required for his move.

Starxo’s Career and Achievements in Valorant

Starxo, now 23 years old, began his professional career in Valorant in 2020 by joining the Entropiq team. In January 2021, he moved to Raise Your Edge Gaming, which later became Acend. With Acend, he achieved significant success, including victories at VCT 2021 EU Stage 1 Masters and VCT 2021 Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1, and also claimed the championship title at VALORANT Champions 2021.

Challenges in Recent Seasons

However, the following seasons proved to be less successful. In 2022, the team showed inconsistent results in the VCT EMEA, failing to qualify for international tournaments. That same year, Starxo joined KOI, but he couldn’t achieve the desired results there either: both in 2023 and 2024, the team failed to qualify for international competitions, finishing last in both stages of VCT EMEA 2024.

Starxo specializes in playing support agents like Skye, Sage, Omen, Brimstone, and KAY/O. He is known for his versatility and high level of play, which has allowed him to remain among Europe’s top players for a long time. In his statement, Starxo emphasized his leadership qualities and readiness for new challenges:

In the last few years, I’ve sacrificed myself, playing the role of a full support to make my team function at its best. Now I understand which team I want to be on and how to make it even better.

He also noted that he is ready to prove his value in the coming months and is open to offers. Stay tuned with us on Bo3.gg for further developments in the player’s career.
