SkRossi criticizes indian players and announces new team formation

Famous Indian esports player SkRossi, formerly of Global Esports and Revenant Esports, harshly criticized the current state of the professional scene in India in a post on platform X. He noted that most professionals fail to reach the Radiant rank and lack genuine passion for improving their skills.

SkRossi revealed that 80% of professionals in the Indian Challengers League 2024 had not achieved the Radiant rank, and 95% had not entered the top 10 rankings even once in the last four years. He emphasized that players from Southeast Asia, despite receiving lower salaries and often lacking financial support altogether, continue to work hard, unlike their Indian counterparts.

Many Indian players only play within their teams, limiting themselves to a few matches a day. Only a few show true passion for the game, and organizations fail to focus on player development.

This criticism comes in the context of the success of foreign players on the Indian scene. At the VCL 2024 SA Split 2 tournament, over ten foreign players, including dos9 and sultan from Revenant Esports, made significant contributions to their teams' victories.
