This Friday, the KRU Blaze team concluded their participation in Game Changers 2023 after a defeat against Team SMG. Following the match, one of the newcomers to the lineup, Luisa "shyz" Minarelli, shared her thoughts on the performance and her experience in the tournament.
Among the players in the KRU Blaze lineup, Luisa is the only representative from Brazil. This year provided her with a unique opportunity to make her debut on the global stage right in her homeland. The athlete shared her thoughts on the happenings in the Brazilian scene.
We did everything we could, and I'm proud of everyone here. This year has been incredible for me. I've made wonderful friends whom I hope will be with me for life. Despite the defeat, I am proud. Of course, I'm sad that we lost, but I'm proud of these girls.
The girl noted that this tournament has given her a lot of individual experience that she intends to apply in the future. Despite these words, shyz has a list of small victories and achievements under her belt. She secured first place at Protocolo: Evolução and topped the qualifiers for the World Championship in the VCT 2023: Game Changers LAS competition series.
After the elimination of KRU, Team Liquid became the sole representative of South America in the Game Changers Championship. Shyz expressed her support for her compatriots and stated that she hopes Team Liquid will bring the title to the continent.
