On November 1-2, another day of the VCT 2023: Game Changers Championship concluded, resulting in the determination of the first grand finalist, as well as two teams that ended their journey at this event.
The upper bracket final, held between the two tournament favorites Shopify Rebellion and G2 Gozen, ended with a victory for the former with a score of 2:1 (Breeze 6:13, Ascent 13:3, Sunsent 13:8). Shopify Rebellion rightfully earned their place in the grand final, meeting the expectations of the club's management who acquired this lineup before the start of VCT 2023: Game Changers Championship. G2 Gozen, after the defeat, falls into the lower bracket final.
In addition to the final, two matches were also played in the lower bracket, both ending with a score of 2:0. The winners of these matches - Team Liquid Brazil and Team SMG - will play against each other today for a spot in the lower bracket final, where G2 Gozen awaits them. Meanwhile, KRÜ Fem and BBL Queens leave the tournament with $25,000, finishing in 5-6th place.
