The unique firing sounds of the new Judge skin from the latest battle pass in Valorant turned out to be a bug, according to one of the developers.
Owners of the new Judge skin at the tenth level of the paid pass were initially delighted that Riot Games had introduced a battle pass skin with unique sounds for the first time. However, after this information spread, developers announced that it was a bug that would be fixed in the future.
The Judge skin from the Bubble Pop collection has firing sounds from another collection, Imperium, which has previously appeared in the game. However, this is a gameplay error, as stated by Priti Khanolkar, the lead producer of cosmetic content in Valorant.
The fact that this turned out to be a bug has greatly disappointed the Valorant community. Developers have received another round of criticism for the fact that the rewards in the battle pass are unsatisfactory compared to other games, where players who fully upgrade the battle pass receive enough currency to purchase the next one without using real money.
