Sentinels to Sign New IGL for Valorant Champions Tour 2024

He is expected to become the new in-game leader for the team during the offseason and the upcoming VCT season.

Mouhamed "johnqt" Ouarid was part of the M80 organization until September 11, where he demonstrated all his skills as an in-game leader. The team achieved significant results in the VCL Challengers league in 2023. For M80, this was their debut season in Valorant, as the organization had not previously had any line-ups for this game. The success achieved by this organization is enviable for any other club, because under johnqt's leadership, the team was one step away from entering the VCT Americas League for the next two years, losing in the grand finals of the VCL Ascension: Americas 2023 to The Guard with a score of 1:3.

Throughout 2023, Sentinels tried two different IGLs. Initially, the former leader of XSET, Rory "dephh" Jackson, played this role, but he was replaced by former OpTic Gaming player Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen. Neither of the IGLs brought Sentinels amazing results. The team lost the only international match at VCT LOCK//IN to Fnatic with a score of 2-0 and took seventh place in the regular season of VCT Americas, not making it to the playoffs. At the end of the season, the team finished fourth in the VCT Americas LCQ tournament and failed to qualify for the Valorant Champions 2023.
