Sengoku Gaming parts ways with another Valorant player, gatorada

On September 16, the Japanese team Sengoku Gaming announced the end of their contract with Valorant division player gatorada.

Gatorada, who is currently 24 years old, began his esports career in 2016 with the game Rainbow Six Siege. He became a professional player in 2017, joining Sengoku Gaming Extasy, and later moved to CYCLOPS athlete gaming in June 2019. During his time with CAG, he won numerous titles in Japan and Asia and competed in six international tournaments, including the Six Invitational 2021 and Six Invitational 2022.

In February 2023, gatorada announced his switch to Valorant, joining Sengoku Gaming “B” Valorant team, and in March, he was promoted to the main roster. The team placed 8th in Japan at the VCJ 2023 Split 2 tournament and reached the offline playoffs at VCJ 2024, securing 3rd place in the country.
