Following the conclusion of Masters Madrid, regular competition will continue across all four Valorant regions. Today, following the Americas and Pacific, the organizers of VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 1 have unveiled the format and seeding of teams that will compete in the upcoming tournament.
The tournament will, as always, be divided into two stages, group and playoffs. In the group stage, teams will compete in a Single Round-Robin format, in matches up to 3 wins. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs and receive places depending on their results. The two strongest teams directly into the semifinals of the upper bracket, the clubs that took 2nd and 3rd place, into the quarterfinals of the upper bracket.
Due to there being only 11 partner teams, they are divided into two groups, with 5 and 6 participants. Interestingly, this year, the organizers not only split the teams into two groups and came up with unusual names Alpha and Omega, but also waived the cash prize.

The tournament will take place from April 2nd to May 12th, 2024. The 11 partner teams will compete for 3 invitations to the upcoming Masters Shanghai, as well as EMEA Points, which are necessary for qualifying for the world championship.
