sgares appointed new general manager of Valorant teams at Shopify Rebellion

On September 12, Shopify Rebellion announced the appointment of Sean "sgares" Gares as the new General Manager of FPS teams. In this new role, Sean will oversee the company's teams competing in first-person shooters, with Valorant being no exception.

Sean Gares has extensive experience in esports. In Counter-Strike, he played for notable teams such as Cloud9, Complexity, and TSM, spending 15 years in this Valve discipline. He transitioned to Valorant in 2021.

At Riot Games, Sean began his career as a content creator with Gen.G and later served as a coach for 100 Thieves in 2022. He joined Shopify Rebellion early last year and focused on content creation for the organization.

Now, with nearly two decades of experience in esports, Sean Gares has taken the helm of FPS teams at Shopify Rebellion, assuming a new key role in the company.
