SCARZ strengthens Valorant roster with new players from the Philippines and Indonesia

On August 17, the Japan-based esports team SCARZ announced the addition of two new players to their Valorant roster. The team welcomed EJAY and adrnking, representing the Philippines and Indonesia, respectively. SCARZ continues to maintain an international lineup and is preparing for the start of VCJ 2024 Split 3.

Eroll Jule "EJAY" Delfin

The 22-year-old EJAY began his Valorant career in 2020. He has played for leading Southeast Asian teams such as Bren Esports, Rex Regum Qeon, and Todak. While with RRQ in 2023, he competed in international leagues, including VCT 2023 LOCK//IN and VCT PACIFIC 2023. EJAY specializes in duelists like Jett and Raze and maintains consistent K/D ratios of 1.19 and 1.17.

Adrian "adrnking" Setiawan

The 26-year-old adrnking started his esports career with CS in 2017, playing for top Southeast Asian teams such as EXECUTIONERS and BTRG. He achieved eight victories in domestic tournaments in Indonesia before transitioning to Valorant in 2020. He later played for BOOM Esports, RRQ, and Alter Ego, participating in tournaments like VCT 2021 SA Masters and VCT 2022 APAC LCQ. In 2023, adrnking switched regions to India, competing for Reckoning Esports, Grayfox Esports, and Velocity Gaming. Although he didn't qualify for the Ascension Tournament, he won the VCL 2024 SA Split 1 Cup 1 with Grayfox Esports and placed third in Split 2 with Velocity Gaming.

The new SCARZ players will compete in the VCJ 2024 Split 3 Advance Stage Phase 1, starting on August 19. The team is hopeful for a successful performance and the continuation of their international career.
