The only top tier squad with a potential Duelist opening is Sentinels.

At an online meeting with Sean Gares, the insider said that Yay is no longer vying for the role of duelist in well-known teams, instead, he is ready to transition to the role of initiator or defender. Rod Breslau himself explains this by the fact that in most professional teams, duelists are among the best players, who will most likely not be changed in the next season. Despite the fact that Yay was once considered one of the best players in the world, teams do not want to change their core, so if there are offers for the player, they are exclusively for other roles.
Yay is ready to sign a contract with a team, thinking that he will not be a star duelist, hence he is open to other roles.
Where will yay end up in 2024?
It's still unknown which teams will be changing their players in the next season, but it can be assumed that from North America these are Evil Geniuses, Sentinels, 100 Thieves. According to the insider, Yay's relations with Cloud9 and NRG have deteriorated, so the chance that the player will move to these teams is minimal. It remains strange that such a high-level player is not performing on the professional scene, yay himself explained this by the fact that organizations mistakenly think he is out of their league. However, Jaccob himself insists that he is ready to play for a minimum wage. You can read more about this in our article.
