As reported by insider Lembo, the Spanish organization Team Heretics has decided to extend the contract of Polish substitute player Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski. On March 14, the team will compete at Masters Madrid, however, Mert "Wo0t" Alkan has not reached the legal age and cannot participate in the international tournament, so Patryk will replace him.
According to Lembo, the player's contract, which was originally signed until the end of Masters Madrid, has been extended until the end of the 2024 season. Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski joined the team in late 2023, shortly before the start of Kickoff. Previously, the Polish player actively competed in the EMEA region, representing G2 Esports and Excel Esports.

Young talent Mert "Wo0t" Alkan became part of Team Heretics back in October, but due to his age, he has not participated in any significant events with his team. Just like at Kickoff, he will be replaced by substitute player Patryk, whose contract has reportedly been extended until the end of the year.
Team Heretics first matches at VCT 2024: Masters Madrid will take place on the second day of the competition, March 15, against Paper Rex.
