Rumors: Saadhak plans to leave LOUD before the start of the next VCT season

In recent days, rumors have been circulating in the professional Valorant community that the in-game leader and captain of the 2022 world champions LOUD - Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro plans to leave the team. According to the rumors, the Argentine player is in talks with the American club NRG.

The rumors started after a screenshot was published online showing a group chat on Discord involving Saadhak, NRG team coach - Chet "Chet" Singh, and agent Derrick Truong.

Later, Saadhak himself during his live stream responded to viewers' questions and confirmed the rumors that he had spoken with the NRG coach. However, he noted that there were no specifics yet and no documents had been signed; it was just friendly negotiations about a possible future move.

There was a conversation with Chet, but it was a formality. Esports is like business, in business there are sometimes moments when you go there and just shake hands. Does it mean you will close the deal with the guy? No, it’s not like that. I will not hide that I spoke with him, because I had to. But I want you guys to relax. I know that there is a lot of misinformation in esports. Nothing is carved in stone. It’s just networking. I think this is the appropriate word.

Let us remind you that after the disastrous advance to Valorant Champions 2023, where the team finished 9th-12th, NRG announced that it was preparing for radical changes in the roster. Three main players will leave the team, one of whom accompanied this with a loud statement. You can read more about this in our article.

So far, it is unknown whether Saadhak will indeed move to NRG, but judging from his comments, the player plans to leave the current team in any case.

I think I did the right thing and that if I join another team next year, I will leave Brazil in a good state and leave people ready to take Brazil to a new level or, at least, maintain Brazil at a high level.

Matias is not the only player who may possibly leave LOUD next year; even before the start of the championship, there were rumors that the star duelist Erick "aspas" Santos, due to a conflict with the management, would also leave the Brazilians.
