Riot Games is reportedly planning to announce and add a brand-new game mode to VALORANT. This information surfaced thanks to well-known dataminer VALORANTLeaksEN and a leaked image that briefly appeared on one of the game’s official social media pages.

The new mode is expected to feature a 3v3 format, potentially on exclusive maps similar to those seen in the mobile version. At the moment, there isn’t much official information — the only confirmation is that one of the official accounts teased a show match in this 3v3 mode featuring content creators.

The release date of the mode is still unknown, but it’s expected to arrive with the new Act. The show match is scheduled for October 5, which suggests the new Act — and likely the new mode — will launch within a week or two afterward. The last time VALORANT introduced a completely new mode was Team Deathmatch, released on June 27, 2023.
