According to the information provided by the portal, a final decision on this matter has not been made yet. However, the German organization G2 Esports has shown significant interest and plans for the American market. This is supported by their opening of an office in New York in January 2020 and their recent signing of former The Guard players, which secured the organization a slot in the VCT Americas League.
The primary goal of the deal for the German organization is the Call of Duty team ROKKR and their place in the CDL. Additionally, they have expressed interest in the Version1 women's Valorant team, which is one of the strongest in the American scene. However, if the deal goes through, it will not happen before the conclusion of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Game Changers Championship, as both teams have already qualified for this tournament, and organizations cannot merge due to conflicts of interest.
It's worth noting that the women's World Championship VCT 2023 Game Changers Championship will take place from November 28 to December 3 in São Paulo at the Arena CBLOL. The top 8 women's teams will compete for the championship title and a significant prize pool, the amount of which is currently undisclosed.
