Rumors: Foxy9 May join Gen.G

According to journalist Tanmay, who is familiar with the Southeast Asian esports scene, there is a high likelihood that 19-year-old player Foxy9 will join the South Korean-based team Gen.G. According to his information, a contract with Foxy9 has already been signed, and Munchkin will take on the role of captain (IGL) in the new roster.

Foxy9 began his Valorant career in 2021 with the team World Game Star. In November of the same year, he signed with REIGNITE and moved to Japan, where he achieved success in the VCT 2022 Japan Stage 1 tournament, finishing 8th in the country. In October 2022, he became the sixth player for DRX, and in the VCT Pacific 2023 season, he joined the main roster, securing 8 consecutive wins in the regular season.

This year, Foxy9 returned to the main roster of DRX, changing his role to sentinel and flex player. He achieved 4th place in VCT Pacific 2024 and also became the runner-up in Stage 2. At the VALORANT Champions 2024 tournament, his team managed to reach the playoff stage, where they faced defeat.
