Rumors Confirmed: Yay officially joins Bleed Esports

Last night, Singaporean organization Bleed Esports announced on their Twitter page the long-awaited addition to their Valorant roster. The new player is the famous 2022 World Championship finalist - Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker, which the professional himself later confirmed on his social media.

Rumors around yay had been circulating for several months. After the esports player announced that he would be participating in the VCT competitive league, fans began speculating under which banner Jaccob would perform. Initially, according to fan information, the player was supposed to join his former colleagues and move to NRG, or after LOUD lost their star duelist, yay was supposed to be his replacement. The latter rumors turned out to be the most plausible, and we recently reported that Jaccob might join Bleed Esports. And just a day later, these rumors were officially confirmed.

It should be noted that Bleed Esports claimed victory in the Valorant Challengers Ascension 2023 in the Pacific region, earning them a slot in the top competitive league VCT for the next two years. After that, the team began a series of reshuffles to update the roster that will need to compete with international tops. Yay will be a fantastic addition to the new roster of Bleed Esports; the professional is considered one of the best players in the world and even during his break did not lose professional skills.
