Let's recall that rumors about the Turkish professional appeared online about a month ago. Well-known esports journalist Alejandro Gomis was the first to report on the upcoming changes in the NAVI roster, and today it became known that he was right. Mehmet "cNed" İpek joined the Ukrainian team in November 2022. During his time under the red and yellow flag, Mehmet brought the team victory at the large off-season tournament - G-Loot VALORANT Clash - Grand Finals, as well as prize places at several events in the regular VCT season. Despite the fact that "cNed" proved himself an excellent Jett player and one of the best Operator users in the world, NAVI failed to show a satisfactory result at the last championship. Valorant Champions 2023 ended for the Ukrainian team with a 9-12th place finish.
Will Ardis strengthen NAVI's roster?
Undoubtedly, the Latvian professional player will be a great reinforcement for the "Natus Vincere" in the upcoming competitive season. Ardiis is one of the most experienced esports players, showcasing his skills on the competitive stage since early 2020. Throughout his career, he has been part of many famous clubs: with G2 Esports, he won VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, and with FunPlus Phoenix, he was victorious at VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen. With his last team, NRG, Ardis secured second place in the regular VCT 2023: Americas League season.
The future of "cNed" remains unknown, but there are also rumors online that the player is being tested in the roster of the Turkish national team, FUT Esports. Therefore, we may soon find out that Mehmet begins to perform under the flag of a team from his region.
