NRG Esports has sidelined Andrew “Verno” Maust and head coach Malcolm “bonkar” Rench four months after they joined the organization. The information was shared by the portal e4equip.
Verno and Bonkar made their debut with the team at offseason tournaments, becoming champions of the Sen City Classic 2024 in November and the SOOP Valorant League 2024 in December. In the recently concluded Valorant Champions Tour 2025: Americas Kickoff, NRG placed 7th-8th. At the time of publication, the club had not made any official statements regarding changes to the Valorant roster.
The next tournament for NRG Esports will be the VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1. It will take place starting March 21 at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles and will conclude in May, ahead of VCT 2025: Masters Toronto.
