As the 2024 off-season begins, the French organization Karmine Corp has bid farewell to two key players, and today the first possible addition has been revealed. According to Sheep Esports, the club's management has already reached a verbal agreement with Egyptian player Hazem "avez" Khaled.
Changes in Karmine Corp's roster
The French team, part of Riot's partner program in the EMEA region, did not have the best competitive season. Of the major international tournaments, the club only qualified for the VCT 2024: Masters Madrid, where they placed 5th-6th, missing the second Masters event and the world championship. As a result, changes were made to the team, with two players, tomaszy and Shin, moving to inactive status and preparing to leave the roster. Read more about it in our report.
Who is Avez?
As reported by Sheep Esports, the team is already looking for replacements, with Hazem "avez" Khaled being the first potential candidate. The 19-year-old player has been competing professionally in Valorant since 2020 and has shown great results on the tier-2 scene. Over the course of his career, he has played for several teams, the most notable being Team RA'AD and NASR Esports. Hazem has won various events and earned approximately $30,000 in prize money.
