Roster reshuffles in the Pacific region continue: Talon Esports announces the end of contracts with Patiphan and coach b0i

On October 8, Talon Esports officially announced the termination of contracts with Valorant player Patiphan and coach b0i.

Patiphan, who is currently 20 years old, announced an indefinite suspension of his career last year and had been on the bench for about nine months. He began his esports career in 2018 by joining the Overwatch scene and transitioned to Valorant in 2020. Throughout his career, he has played for Thai teams such as MiTH, FULL SENSE, and X10, and in 2021 he became the first representative from Southeast Asia to secure 8th place at the VALORANT Champions 2021 tournament.

In December 2023, he announced his indefinite career suspension, citing a decline in motivation:

I found it hard to even log into the game and play, and I am constantly struggling with myself. If this continues, I will be a burden to my teammates.

Coach b0i, who is 27 years old, began his Valorant career in 2020 with the team Andbox and achieved success at the highest level, including 8th place at VCT 2021 NA Stage 2. In July 2021, he signed a contract with 100 Thieves, but his contract was terminated in November of the same year.

In 2022, b0i played for several teams, focusing on the seven professional scene, but did not achieve the desired results in the open qualifiers for VCT 2022 NA. In March 2023, he announced his transition to a coaching role and became the coach of Talon Esports, contributing to the team's participation in VALORANT Champions 2024.

With the departure of Patiphan and b0i, Talon Esports has undergone changes, and the team's future plans have yet to be disclosed.
