A problem has been found in Valorant where the trajectory display of picked-up weapons is forcibly enabled. Product Manager Coleman Palm announced that this bug will be fixed in patch 9.01, which will be released next month.
Palm mentioned that they received several reports about the forced trajectory display and plan to fix this bug in patch 9.01. He noted that they originally wanted to fix it in patch 9.0, but the code turned out to be more complex than expected.
We received several reports about the forced trajectory display and plan to fix this bug in patch 9.01. We initially wanted to address it in patch 9.0, but the code turned out to be more complex than expected. Thank you to everyone who reported the issue.
I've had a few people send this bug to me, wanted to confirm that we have a fix for this going out in patch 9.01 - we were hoping we could get it into 9.00, but it's a bit more complicated under the hood than it seems

But, we're aware and a fix is coming. Thanks for the reports! https://t.co/ul507AzxSQ
At first glance, this bug does not significantly impact gameplay, but many professional players prefer to disable trajectory display. While the exact release date for patch 9.01 is unknown, players are advised either to get used to the setting with the enabled trajectory or to avoid using picked-up weapons as a temporary solution.
