Riot Games announces the start of VCT Masters Shanghai 2024, which will take place from May 23 to June 9. The top 12 teams from around the world, who have overcome the qualifying competitions, will compete fiercely for the title of champion on the international stage.
To spark interest and immerse fans into the atmosphere of the upcoming tournament, Riot Games released a new cinematic. It features dynamic scenes of epic battles and astounding abilities on the esports arena of Masters Shanghai.

The group stage of the tournament will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, which has previously hosted such iconic tournaments as The International 2016 for Dota 2 and Major Shanghai 2016.
VCT Masters Shanghai will be the second international competition in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024. The tournament includes performances by 12 teams from various regions around the world, who will compete for 3 VCT points and the prize pool has not been announced yet. It is worth reminding that the prize pool for the previous Masters was $500,000.
