The release of a new map in Valorant is always an exciting event because, since the discipline's inception, the overall map pool has included only 10 locations. According to data miners, Riot Games plan to reveal a new map soon, about which there has been almost no prior information.

This was reported by the well-known data miner VALORANT Leaks & News on his official Twitter account. He mentioned that at the end of the second major tournament of 2024 in Valorant - VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai, the developers will show players a new map. It should be noted that there are currently no details about it or information from other data miners, so it remains at the level of rumors.

As VALORANT Leaks & News reports, on the last day of the tournament, which will take place on June 9, there will be a show match. The participants are still unknown, but such events usually feature famous content creators, streamers, and former professional players. It is during this show match, which will take place before the tournament's grand final, that the new map will be revealed, and the match will be played on it.

Recall that the last map to appear in Valorant is Sunset, which takes players to Los Angeles. The map was released with update 7.04 on August 29, 2023. Nine months have passed since then, so Riot Games may indeed be planning to expand Valorant's map pool once again.
