Riot Games France announced new information about the upcoming VALORANT replay feature set to arrive early next year

In a recent AMA video, Kael, the Community Lead at Riot Games France, addressed user questions, revealing that more details about the development progress will be shared in 2025. While specific information has not yet been disclosed, the developers confirmed they are continuing work on the feature and are closely listening to community feedback.

The replay feature has been one of the most requested additions from the community since VALORANT's release in 2020. In May 2022, Arnar Hrafn Gylfason, a VALORANT producer, confirmed that the team had begun work on implementing replays. However, this year, following the introduction of a prototype, serious technical issues arose, including door bugs on the "Ascent" map and the absence of smoke visuals in replays.
