Former coach of organizations like Global Esports, Leviatán, and others in VALORANT — Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon — has been officially banned from all tournaments held under Riot Games. The company first announced this on its website on April 4, and on April 11, published more details of the investigation.
On March 21, screenshots of Juv3nile’s strange behavior began circulating online, showing him messaging random people on X (formerly Twitter), arranging personal meetings. Riot Games quickly reacted and issued a temporary ban, but on April 4, the suspension was extended to 12 months — as reported earlier.
On April 11, Riot Games published the results of its investigation. According to the report, over a certain period, Juv3nile messaged around 60 people he didn’t personally know, inviting them to meet. Some of these meetings were supposed to take place at Riot Games tournament venues. Moreover, he offered free coaching sessions and gifts, using language that Riot Games deemed inappropriate. At least one of the individuals, according to Riot, was underage. Additionally, the company stated that Juv3nile made no effort to verify the age of his contacts before initiating conversations.
Riot Games could not independently verify the age of all individuals, however, at least one recipient had indicated in their profile that they were a minor. In another instance, the recipient disclosed their age after numerous messages, whereby Juv3nile ceased communication. Based on the evidence reviewed, it did not appear that Juv3nile was specifically targeting minors. However, his reckless behavior constituted a disregard for online communication safety.
Of particular concern was the disregard for online safety. Juv3nile contacted individuals without prior knowledge of their ages and did not take reasonable steps to consider or clarify this before initiating engagements.Riot Games
Juv3nile himself chose not to comment on the situation or publicly challenge Riot Games' decision. Unless circumstances change — and currently, there are no signs of that — he will only be able to return to professional activity after April 4, 2026.
