Riot Games blocks cheat spoofer designed to bypass Vanguard anti-cheat in less than an hour

The Riot Games team has once again demonstrated the effectiveness of its anti-cheat measures by disabling a “spoofer” developed to bypass the Vanguard anti-cheat system in Valorant and League of Legends in under an hour.

This cheat, intended to mask players' device information, was in development for about a year. However, Riot Games anti-cheat analyst GamerDoc stated on his X account (formerly Twitter) that it took the team less than an hour to neutralize the tool. In a conversation with the spoofer's developer, screenshots of which were published, it became clear that the cheat creator was shocked by the quick response, even offering a €5,000 bribe and pleading for “mercy” to preserve his work.

GamerDoc wryly commented that while the developer spent a year crafting a “LEGO masterpiece,” Riot's team managed to dismantle it in just an hour, sparking a range of emotions in the cheat’s creator—from anger to reluctant respect.
