The Riot Games team has once again demonstrated the effectiveness of its anti-cheat measures by disabling a “spoofer” developed to bypass the Vanguard anti-cheat system in Valorant and League of Legends in under an hour.
This cheat, intended to mask players' device information, was in development for about a year. However, Riot Games anti-cheat analyst GamerDoc stated on his X account (formerly Twitter) that it took the team less than an hour to neutralize the tool. In a conversation with the spoofer's developer, screenshots of which were published, it became clear that the cheat creator was shocked by the quick response, even offering a €5,000 bribe and pleading for “mercy” to preserve his work.
GamerDoc wryly commented that while the developer spent a year crafting a “LEGO masterpiece,” Riot's team managed to dismantle it in just an hour, sparking a range of emotions in the cheat’s creator—from anger to reluctant respect.

This incident highlights the ongoing battle between game developers and cheat creators and once again underscores the power of the Vanguard system. Experts suggest that this cat-and-mouse game between Riot Games and cheaters will persist, with no end in sight.
