Rhyme leaves Giants' roster and ends his career in Valorant

Today it became known that the in-game leader of the Spanish team Giants - Emir "rhyme" Muminovic, is ending his esports career. The representatives of the organization announced this on their Twitter page, where they, along with other members, said goodbye to the now former player.

Rhyme started his journey in the shooter from Riot Games in April 2020 and until today he managed to be in many renowned teams, including: Ninjas in Pyjamas, Gen.G Esports, FunPlus Phoenix, and Giants. In the latter team, Emir had his best season on the tier-1 scene. Since the beginning of 2023, Giants have participated in many tournaments, but have not achieved significant results in any. VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo ended for the Spanish team with a 9-16 place. The regular season of VCT 2023: EMEA League - with a 5-6 place, and the last Valorant Champions 2023 world championship with a 9-12 place.

It is obvious that after a failed season, the team will undergo changes in the roster, the first of which was the departure of rhyme. The player announced that he plans to dedicate himself to education and enrolls in a university. In turn, the organization said goodbye to the former player, wishing him all the best in the future.

On behalf of Giants, we want to express our best wishes to Emir in his future, as well as express our gratitude for his key contribution to a historic year for our organization. Rhyme played a fundamental role both within and outside the server, helping to achieve fourth place in the VCT EMEA regional league, victory in the Last Chance Qualifier and entering the top 9-12 at the recent Valorant Champions, one of the most important events in the history of Giants.

It is not yet known who will replace the Giants' in-game leader in the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour 2024 season, but we want to remind you that the first Masters series tournament will be held in Madrid, which is symbolic for the Spanish team. Therefore, one can be confident that the team will find a replacement soon to decently represent themselves at the regional tournament.
