Today, May 20, the renowned esports club Rex Regum Qeon from Indonesia made an official statement about a new addition to their Valorant roster. The young player Monyet has transferred from the team Paper Rex and will take a place in the main roster, replacing the benched player fl1pzjder.

At the age of 18, Monyet already boasts impressive experience in the competitive Valorant scene. He joined the Indonesian team ONIC Esports in 2020 and proved himself as a talented duelist with high performance. Over the course of two years, he not only showed consistent results domestically but also played a significant role in his team's success at the VCT 2022 LCQ APAC, where ONIC Esports reached the finals.

After this period of successes, Monyet moved to Global Esports in 2022, where he continued his career as a controller. His outstanding gaming skills led to good results at the VCT 2023 LOCK//IN and VCT PACIFIC 2023, despite the challenges his team faced.

Following that, Monyet was noticed by the Paper Rex team, with whom he secured second place at the AfreecaTV VALORANT LEAGUE and third at VCT 2024: Masters Madrid, suffering two crushing defeats from Sentinels in the finals and semifinals of the tournaments.

The new team member will compete for Rex Regum Qeon at the VCT 2024: Pacific Stage 2 tournament, which begins in 4 weeks on June 15.
