Radical changes to the Bleed Esports Valorant roster after a failure at VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff

Bleed Esports announced radical changes to their Valorant roster after failing at their first tournament in 2024, parting ways with two players.

VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff was Bleed Esports' first tier-1 scene experience, but no miracle happened. Even after signing star player Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, the team couldn't deliver a satisfactory performance and lost both matches, finishing the tournament in last place.

Two players were immediately benched: Ngô "crazyguy" Anh and Javier "Egoist" Chua, the latter of whom then announced his retirement from professional gaming. He no longer sees a future in esports and has decided to focus on his education.

Hello I have been benched. As I personally feel esports is not worth pursuing anymore, I have decided to retire as a player to focus on my university studies. Thank you to everyone I have met on this 10 year journey.

The current Bleed Esports roster looks like this:

Bleed Esports finds themselves in a difficult situation following this decision, as all the best options from free agents and beyond have already found a home for this year. It will be interesting to see how the club's management finds a way out of this situation.
