Players only stayed with the organization for seven days: KPI disbands its Valorant women's team

The Spanish organization KPI, following a failed attempt at the closed qualifiers for VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA Stage 1, has decided to disband its women's roster.

On February 5th, all five players of the KPI Shine team announced on their social media that the club had decided to withdraw from Game Changers, hence disbanding its roster. The likely reason for this is the team's unsuccessful performance at the qualifiers, despite having been reinforced just a few days before they began.

KPI Shine was among the first to be eliminated in the closed qualifiers, finishing in last place. Throughout its time participating in Game Changers, the KPI organization, which joined in 2023, failed to achieve significant results and only managed to win a total of $3,599 in prize money.

The players do not plan to continue playing together, so each member has posted information stating that she is a free agent and actively looking for a new team, ready to consider any offer.
