Recall that after the end of the current VCT 2023 competitive season, the Swedish team completely disbanded their roster. Despite AEX-1 players securing 2nd place at the VCL 2023 DACH: Relegation, which ensured them a slot for the following year, the organization decided to drastically change their lineup. The club recently announced a new roster, which included 4 players. For more details, read our article.
Current AEX-1 lineup
The team will now be reinforced by Patrik "Patix" Rozman - a 21-year-old Slovenian player who has spent almost his entire career with Diamant Esports. With the club, the professional successfully performed on the tier-3 and tier-2 scenes. However, he couldn't break into the top league; in the last VALORANT Challengers 2023 East: Surge Split 1, his team finished in 6th place and earned 30 VCL points. As a result, Diamant Esports ranked 4th in the VCL 2023 - East Circuit Point Standings and did not receive an invitation to EMEA Ascension.

We remind you that AEX-1 has two tournaments ahead in the OFF//SEASON intermission - Valorant Challengers 2023 DACH: Arcade and PROJECT V 2023: THE POKAL. Both have pleasant prizes amounting to 15,000€, so we will be watching to see if Patix can help the team secure additional funds before the start of the main VCT competitive season.
