The second major tournament of 2024, Masters Shanghai, has already passed its halfway point, and the last 5 game days are up ahead. Before the grand final, scheduled for June 9, the event organizers will hold a show match, and yesterday all its participants were announced.
An announcement for the upcoming show match appeared yesterday on the official Twitter account of the Valorant Champions Tour. It revealed that the match will feature two teams: Team China, led by the current player of the women's roster of EDward Gaming - Lizhi, and Team International, led by former professional player, now a streamer for the Spanish team Team Heretics - Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas.
Later, the organizers also disclosed the participants who will make up both teams. As usual in show matches, the majority of participants will not be players, but well-known media personalities, streamers, and artists.
