The victory at VCT 2023 Pacific League earned the team a spot in the upcoming world championship. Interestingly, at the last Valorant Champions Tour 2023: Masters Tokyo, the team competed without something, because the latter couldn't get a visa. Despite this, Paper Rex performed well at the tournament and took 3rd place with a cash prize of $125,000. The player himself is called a star member of Paper Rex, thanks to his consistently high-level play on duelists such as Jett - 1469 matches played and Reyna - 822 matches played.
Achievements for 2023
Since the beginning of the season, the team has shown quite ambiguous results. At the past Valorant Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, the team was one of the first to leave the tournament, finishing in 17th-32nd place. After such a disappointing performance, the Paper Rex players redeemed themselves and performed excellently at the VCT 2023 Pacific League, taking 1st place and 3rd place at Valorant Champions Tour 2023: Masters Tokyo. Currently, Paper Rex is ranked 1st in the rating of the strongest teams in the Asia-Pacific region. Considering that the team will go to the upcoming Valorant Champions 2023 with a full roster and without substitutions, they can be confidently called one of the favorites of the upcoming championship.
