Paper Rex Valorant extended head coach Alecks' contract for his achievements

Paper Rex announced that they will continue working with Alexandre "alecks" Sallé, who leads the Valorant coaching staff. Under his guidance, the team has qualified for numerous international championships and won several trophies.

Stability

Paper Rex continues to choose stability and consistency by re-signing its head coach from Valorant, Alexandre “alecks” Sallé, with whom it has been working since 2021. With him, the team has achieved trophies such as winning the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Pacific League, VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Pacific Stage 1, Valorant India Invitational, as well as reaching every Valorant Champions since 2022. In 2023, the team showed the best result at the World Championships, taking second place.

New contract

The new contract between Paper Rex and alecks has been signed until 2026. He will continue to lead the team to future success thanks to his previous accomplishments. Although the 2024 season didn’t go as planned, qualifying for all possible international championships gives hope, the organization stated.

Consistency is really important to us. We’ve qualified for every international VCT event since 2022—it's something we're really proud of. While 2024 didn't go the way we wanted, we've come a long way with Alexandre 'alecks' Sallé leading the way.

We're committed to learning from what went wrong while keeping the things that worked. With renewed energy and a clear focus for the coming VCT 2025 season, we're ready to take on whatever comes next and come back even stronger. The team is confident that 'alecks' will lead us back to the podium.

Will the team remain unchanged?

The transfer window in the Pacific region has officially opened, but it seems that Paper Rex will continue their journey with the same roster as in 2023, and the contract extension with alecks only reinforces these assumptions. However, the club still has time for changes, so we might see new faces in the team, though it seems unlikely.
