Official announcement
An official announcement has just been made on Paper Rex's official social media channels. In it, team representatives announced that PatMen will join the team as the sixth player.
Continuing to expand VALORANT's roster, Paper Rex has completed a transfer and signed former NAOS Esports player Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza. PatMen joins the team as the 6th player on the active roster and will join the rest of the VALORANT team in Seoul in the coming weeks once the necessary logistical and paperwork is in order.

PatMen has been playing on the Valorant professional scene since the end of 2021, but spent most of his time on the tier-2 scene where he was in such well-known teams as NAOS Esports and Talon Esports at a time when they did not have a slot in the VCT affiliate league.

Paper Rex's performance
The Singaporean team took 2nd place at the World Championships in 2023 and followed that up with a good season in 2024. During it, they took 3rd place at the VALORANT Masters Madrid 2024, 2nd place at the VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff and VCT 2024: Pacific Stage 2. But at the beginning of 2025, the team did not show good results. The regional qualifiers of VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff ended in 7-8th place for the team, which resulted in it missing the first Masters in 2025.
It is still unclear who PatMen will replace and whether it will join the main roster at all. Keep following our portal to learn more about the future of Paper Rex players.
